A Security Officer is a licensed person employed by a Security Agent who provides and maintains the security of premises and property, controls access and exit on premises, maintains the safety of the premises and personnel and the protection and escort of valuables.
A Crowd Controller is a licensed person employed by a Crowd Control Agent to work on behalf of a licensee, owner, lease holder or authorized manager to maintain a peaceful environment in any licensed premises, place of
entertainment, public or private event or function.

Mobile patrols are ideally suited to ail types of property protection. These services are highly flexible and can be tailored to your requirements.
Property protection is a specialist area and should be carried out by professionally trained personnel.
Crowd Control is a specialist area and should be carried out by professionally trained personnel.
Security Officers who carry firearms provide specialized security in the protection of valuables and cash in transit. These are the only occasions when a security officer is entitled to carry a firearm by law.

This legislation affects any person who wishes to engage in Security occupations. These include Security Agent, Security Officer, Security Consultant, Security installer, Inquiry Agent, Investigator, Crowd Control Agent, and Crowd Controller.
Any person for whom the license holder is performing a service under that license must on request produce his/her identity card for inspection – section 61 (2) (b),
